Now into its 4th year, weFCPug has always aimed to be a meeting point for those who have an interest in Apple's Final Cut Studio software and its use in the video post-production world.

We're proud to have brought together artists and craftspeople who have gone on to attain broadcast commisions and work for some of the leading post-production companies in the West of England.

We've had a variety of hosts over the years from Granada Television, BBC Bristol, Aardman Animations and others and in the next few months plan to visit a variety of other companies and different locations.

This year, 2008, we will be celebrating our 5th year so keep an eye out for the super-meet in September. In the meantime, we are open to anybody and any suggestions.

weFCPug is a non-commercial set-up run on a purely voluntary basis. We are supported by Bright Filament, fcpTraining and Noise Industries.

Meetings:

The next meeting is on Monday July 7th and is being kindly hosted by the BBC in that wonderful room next to the bar (!)

Usually lasting about 2 hours, I'll be looking at that compression problem first posed 2 months ago and I'll also be trying to impress the hell out of you with motion tracking inside Motion. And talking of Motion, Phil will be bemoaning its lack of... well, you know Phil!Plus, of course, his monthly round up of what's been happening in the "MacoSphere" (His word, not mine!) And we'll be making plans for September!

We also have the now famous raffle prize(s) which in the past have included a Final Cut Studio 2 upgrade and other industry leading software, Plug-ins, DVDs, books, T-shirts and more. (Our thanks go to all those who have kindly donated such prizes.) This month we have a fantastic prize from our sponsor, Softpress. Pease click on the link to the left and find out all about them.

AND PLEASE E-MAIL TO LET US KNOW YOU ARE COMING!
